Local storage holds appearance and acknowledgement preferences; the session token is memory-only. No chat plaintext is cached by this web client. Windows uses local settings/DPAPI files, not browser cookies. The storage notice has equally accessible controls and no advertising consent bundled with sign-in. There are no optional trackers to accept or reject. You can clear this device's keys in Privacy and data after signing out; export a protected backup first. Clearing keys can make retained chats unreadable.
